Out Magazine: Harris' Steakhouse editorial (I
got the cover!)
I contributed
several times to this magazine, but this article is the crown jewel of
my efforts.
Not because the writing is good, but because I was given the plum assignment
of reviewing
a restaurant which comes with all the trimming. On the house. They asked
me to review a
famous San Francisco steak house. I accepted. However, I neglected to
mention to my editor
that I have not eaten meat in almost 20 years.
