Aside from
owning radio stations and a bunch of other media properties, Clear Channel
also owns venues. They weren't selling enough lawn tickets for open-air
concerts and
asked us if we could put ass on the grass. I came up with the classic
hand gesture icons
you see at shows and with the incentives offered, I created the ads with
my partner.
I'm not a big fan of crowds, but from what I hear, attendance improved
greatly that
summer and grass was enjoyed by plenty.
